Steep 1/4 tsp of powdered cinnamon per cup of boiling water for 10 to 20 minutes.
I suggest having it early in the day to score the benefits big-time.
Steep a tea bag (green gives a bigger antioxidant boost than black) for 3-4 minutes. Add heated and frothed soya milk, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and honey. Enjoy!
FRENCH TOAST WITH A TWIST
Blend bananas with vanilla essence, eggs and milk. Dip bread into this mix in batches. Cook in a non-stick pan until lightly browned on both sides. Dust with cinnamon. Bon appetit!
Make your daily pulao more flavourful. Add an aromatic broth laced with sautéed onion, cardamom pods, cinnamon, and whole cloves. The spices are cooked along with the rice (they aren’t meant to be eaten), you can tie them up in cheesecloth and throw into the pot as well.
